Knowle Manor is an impressive listed Manor House with extensive landscaped grounds, all in the beautiful Exmoor National Park. Set in 120 acres the property offers views across the lakes & trees to the forests and moors beyond. Surrounded by woodland, the walking, running & biking in the surrounding hills is very scenic. The River Avill quietly meanders through the grounds on its way to the medieval village of Dunster, the dramatic Exmoor coastline lies just beyond. Herons, kingfishers and barn owls are regularly sighted in the grounds.

A number of lawns offer areas to play football, volleyball and rounders. There are areas for quiet contemplation and an enclosed child friendly lawn with direct access from the house through French windows.

The house sleeps 50 guests in 20 comfortable bedrooms all with bathrooms and everyone can sit together in our dining room. There are 3 large reception rooms; the Drawing room, Dining room and Bar room. The spacious semi-commercial kitchen is well equipped to cook in large numbers. The games room has both a pool & table tennis table and a piano.

The Palm House is available exclusively to our guests in addition to the main house.

Our indoor pool is available all year round and heated to 30 degrees.
